As an on-air radio personality and talk show host, Brown was most known as the “Dove” – being a witness for the Lord outside the walls of the church. In the mid 90s’, Brown was awarded Gospel Radio Personality of the year for Northeast Ohio by Taller Works Productions. As a local celebrity, Brown used her status to stay connected to neighborhood issues and aid in providing resources to the general community. In 2005, Brown shared the platform with Mayor William Grayson of Elyria as she hosted their annual Martin Luther King Celebration. Brown also assisted many churches and youth groups with fundraising activities. Brown has been extremely instrumental with aiding in the developmental component of attaining sponsorships and guiding the marketing/promotions team with securing National Gospel Entertainment to the spiritual community. Because of her charismatic personality, she has shared the stage in front of thousands - with many national recording artists like Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Men of Standard, Yolanda Adams, The Williams Brothers, Shekinah Glory Ministry, Lee Ann Faine, Melba Moore, Rev. John P. Kee, The Canton Spirituals and others as she served as mistress of ceremony. Brown was surely an ACTIVE COMMUNITY VOICE!

Moreso, to speak out against any and all unethical and discriminatory practices. In June of 2007 Brown developed a step by step plan on saving the City of Cleveland from “Thug Culture” which was featured in the Cleveland Plain Dealer Newspaper. In February of 08' Brown challenged the Cleveland Public School District's East Technical High School in reference to the media exposed case of 11th grader Johnathan Douthard. Mr. Douthard was repeatedly beaten by a gang of teens and Brown step in to aid the family in dealing with unethical practices of this administration. In March 2008, Brown reached out to Mr. John White and Family of Miller Place New York regarding the national profile case 'The Miller Place Shooting". Brown traveled to Long Island New York and served as Coordinator of Engagements for the Northern Ohio Region. Inaddition, The Rotary Club of the City of Cleveland (2008) donated 500 dictionaries in Kimberly F. Brown’s name to fifth graders of the Cleveland Municipal School District because of her excellent leadership abilities within this region . Most recently, Brown was the guest "Keynote Speaker" at Success Technical High School Senior Awards Ceremony and Dinner following the tragic self inflicted shooting of student Asa Coons. Lastly, following the outrage of "Racial Disparity" in our Court Rooms (November 2008)- Brown developed a plan on how our court system and legal administration can be effective without being discriminatory. Brown clearly identifies with a quality assurance technique which allows open discovery and fairness to all - not just the selected, political or privilege few.

Taken from the Book And Still, "They Wait"
Dear Politician, Mr. and Mrs.
I sit here with very little understanding in my mind - Wondering why my vote counted yesterday, but not tonight
I stand here today just thinking about all the times you knocked on my door - Just begging for me to lend my support
I walk around the neighborhood looking for hope and possiblilties - Only to find, death after death perpetuated by black on black crime
I lay in bed at night with my eyes closed real tight - Contemplating only to find expectations of Great Things was merely a dream
You don't matter, I don't mind..It's now up to me to change these trying times.
I do, I really do ask myself, why I gave you my power - My vote, to help the babies, when all you've done is destroy the nation
I don't see you much anymore in the community, my neighborhood - You've seem to have vanished, disappeared since the last Election Year
Have you left, why did you leave? Leave the place, your community who gave you a seat. A seat to be different, to make a change .. A change for young people caught up in a world of crime and shame. Was this a game? Aren't you partly to blame? Making decisions about this and that...Worrying about Don Imus and what he said...While our young people are dying - most mentally dead?
Next time around, the very next time around..I won't be so kind as long as you ignore community illnesses and crime....The very next time, I see a child without a home - While you sit at ease on your Political Throne....You'll find yourself standing alone...........Silenced!
